Show No Mercy!

Updated: Feb 7, 2020

Or, yaknow..DO show mercy. Whatever.

Good morning my loyal Painkillers, and welcome to another edition of Grab A Buddy Monday. Well, WrestleMania has come and gone, and since I’m writing this article in advance, all I can say is damn, it was really long! I’m not out of wrestling mode just yet, so I figured that I would bring you another classic wrestling game. Last time, it was SmackDown, for the original PlayStation, this time it will be for the Nintendo 64. It’s time to grab three of your buddies, hook up your N64, and let’s play WWF No Mercy!

Just like SmackDown, this game was released in 2000, but late in the year, and was also published by THQ. Gameplay was somewhat similar to older wrestling games made by THQ with the same punch and grapple technique, but it works really well. The Roster is fulled with many of your favorite wrestlers from that time period.

This game is loads of fun. The different matches that you can play are great, especially ladder matches. Right off the top of having 4 players play at the same time brings a lot of fun and excitement. Many people consider this game not only better than the SmackDown game, that it is one of the best wrestling games ever made. In fact, all the way up to 2013 when THQ went under, they were still getting request from fans to make their current wrestling games to play more No Mercy. If you haven’t played this before, please go out and do so. In fact buy the game here from Amazon. Until next time everyone! Captain Pain approves this post!!!
